A book I was involved in writing entitled ‘The Trunk In The Hall’. has been published. I contributed to chapters 2 and 4. The book is about ‘boarding school syndrome’. Boarding schools have come under scrutiny of late because of difficulties seen to arise in adulthood from children being separated from their parents at a very young age.
The book discusses the syndrome, but also discusses separation, attachment difficulties, bullying and how these can lead to difficulties in adulthood including difficulties in relationships and mood/mental health. Its available online from Routledge and amazon. Links provided below.
